Emera Inc. is a diversified energy and services holding company with three primary operating units: (1) wholly owned Nova Scotia Power Inc., a regulated integrated electricity utility in Nova Scotia; (2) wholly owned Bangor Hydro-Electric Company, a regulated electricity transmission and distribution company in eastern and central Maine; and (3) other operations, including a 12.9% interest in the Maritimes & Northeast Pipeline Limited Partnership; a 19% interest in St. Lucia Electricity Services Ltd., a fully integrated electric utility in the Caribbean; a 50% interest in Bear Swamp; and Emera Energy Services, which provides energy management services.
