Aimia Inc. (Aimia, formerly Groupe Aeroplan Inc.) owns three regional business segments: Canada, the U.S. and Asia-Pacific (US & APAC), and Europe, the Middle-East, and Africa (EMEA). In Canada, Aimia operates the Aeroplan program, a customer loyalty program, as well as Carlson Marketing, a loyalty marketing services provider. In EMEA, Aimia operates Nectar, a coalition program based in the U.K., Air Miles Middle East through a 60% ownership interest, LMG Insight & Communication (insight and data analytics business), the Nectar Italia coalition loyalty program through a 75% participation, and Carlson Marketing. In the U.S. & APAC, Aimia operates Carlson Marketing. Aimia also jointly controls Premier Loyalty & Marketing, a Mexican coalition loyalty program, with Grupo Aeromexico.
