Located in central Canada, the Province of Ontario is the largest province in the country, accounting for approximately 40% of the country's real gross domestic product and population. The Province of Ontario has the largest manufacturing base of all provinces and is the most integrated with the U.S. economy, which consumes about 87% of its exports.
