Nestle Capital Canada Limited is indirectly wholly owned by Nestle S.A., the world’s largest food company, with activities in beverages, milk products, pet foods and pharmaceuticals. Nestle S.A. also has a direct 27% interest in L’Oréal (cosmetic products), owns the majority (75%) of Alcon, Inc. (eye-care company) and has a joint venture with General Mills, Inc. called Cereal Partners Worldwide (50%).
