Summary

SaskPower is a vertically integrated electric utility located in Saskatchewan that provides generation, transmission, distribution and retail services to approximately 473,000 customers. In addition to its wholly-owned operating subsidiaries, NorthPoint Energy Solutions Inc. and Power Greenhouses Inc., SaskPower operates three coal-fired power stations, seven hydroelectric stations, six natural gas stations and two wind facilities with an aggregate generating capacity of 3,513 MW. It is counterparty to an additional 469 MW of contracted capacity through long-term PPAs and has a diversified portfolio of assets comprising roughly of 43% coal, 21% hydro, 31% gas and 4% wind.
