Queen’s University is a mid-sized institution established in 1841 by Royal Charter of Queen Victoria. Located in Kingston, Ontario, a city of about 152,000 residents at the northeastern end of Lake Ontario, Queen’s University offers a comprehensive range of undergraduate, graduate and professional programs to a student population of 19,117 full-time equivalents in 2006–2007.
