Summary

RONA inc. is a Québec-based retailer and distributor of hardware, home improvement and gardening products. The Company dates back to 1939 when it was created by a group of independent merchants in Québec. It is now an industry leader in Canada and, following a series of acquisitions from 2000 to 2010, it has increased its market share in Canada to approximately 19%. As of June 30, 2010, the RONA network consisted of 690 stores, of which 241 are corporate stores, 22 are franchised and 427 are affiliates.
