Cara operates 679 restaurants in the family and quick service sectors. This includes five well-known banners: Swiss Chalet, Milestones, Montana’s, Kelsey’s and Harvey’s. 71% are in Ontario. Over the past few years, Cara deemed its other businesses to be noncore and has divested them, including Second Cup, the airport restaurants, Summit Food and its airline catering business.
