Summary

British Columbia Investment Management Corporation (bcIMC) is an independently managed statutory corporation and is wholly owned by the province of British Columbia. It is mandated to provide investment management services to B.C. public-sector pension plans and other public-sector clients. Realpool Investment Fund (Realpool), a subsidiary of bcIMC, is an actively managed pooled fund of real estate and real estate-related investments, owned by nine B.C. public-sector pension plans and entities, and had an asset value in excess of $83.9 billion at September 30, 2010. bcIMC Realty Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Realpool, had an asset market value in excess of $8.7 billion as at September 30, 2010, and is the main Canadian real estate operating company of Realpool.
