Nordea Group is a leading provider of financial services in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. The Group offers universal banking services, as well as life insurance to retail and institutional customers. Nordea is also active in the Baltic region, Poland and Russia. Nordea Bank has a unique franchise in the Nordic region (Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden) where it provides universal banking services to individuals, small- and medium-sized enterprises, large corporates and other institutional clients. Legally registered in Sweden, the group was established from the mergers and acquisitions of leading financial institutions in each of the above four Nordic markets between 1997 and 2000.
