DBRS will host a teleconference today at 1:00 pm ET to discuss the implications of rating actions taken today regarding the proposed merger between Suncor Energy Inc. (Suncor) and Petro-Canada (PC).
DBRS placed both Petro-Canada’s and Suncor’s respective ratings of R-1 (low) and A (low) Under Review with Developing Implications. The trends on all ratings for both companies were negative. The rating actions follow the announcements made by both Suncor and PC regarding their proposed merger.
