The replay of DBRS’s teleconference to discuss the implications of rating actions taken yesterday regarding the proposed merger between Suncor Energy Inc. (Suncor) and Petro-Canada (PC) will be available until March 30, 2009, at 11:59 p.m.
On March 23, 2009, DBRS placed both PC’s and Suncor’s respective ratings of R-1 (low) and A (low) Under Review with Developing Implications. The trends on all ratings for both companies were Negative. The rating actions followed the announcements made by both Suncor and PC regarding their proposed merger.
