DBRS will hold a teleconference today at 1:00 p.m. on the recent trend change of the long-term debt rating of the Province of Ontario to Negative from Stable. Eric Beauchemin, Managing Director of Public Finance, and Travis Shaw, Assistant Vice President, will address DBRS’s concerns with respect to the Province of Ontario’s ability to weather the global recession and the crisis of its auto sector without unduly weakening its credit metrics.
Mr. Beauchemin and Mr. Shaw will be available for a Q&A following the conference call.
